Enough: When?

Darn it!
Now
I’m craving
Beef stew!

It all started
When I decided
To make it once
And then again,

And now,
It’s become a habit
And the ingredients
Have become too pricey again!

Ew! I hate that
When I get on a roll,
In a groove
Like this

And have to
Switch gears
Because of shortages
Of what I hold dear,

And yet
My favourite dish
Varies so much
It’s such a silly clinging,

But then,
What else do I expect?
It is silly
And that’s that.

That’s how it is
And that’s all
But it keeps happening
No matter what I do!
